Good Stuff Ventures is a startup development studio in Cincinnati. We develop, test, and launch original ventures rooted in storytelling, memorable experiences, human connection, and nostalgia. The moments people want to preserve and share with others.
Our vision is to build original companies and products that prove a good idea can be both useful and deeply human, whatever form it takes. Start with the story, and the rest follows. It should be remembered for how it made life feel, not just for what it helped people accomplish.
The premise
The best ideas do not just solve something. They make you feel something.
Good Stuff Ventures serves as the home for early-stage concept development: research, naming, design, prototyping, software development, market testing, intellectual property, customer discovery, and initial commercialization.
Some ideas that prove viable will graduate into their own entities, brands, partnerships, and capital structures. While some ideas will remain experiments. And some will lead to an entirely different idea we never saw coming. That is part of making good stuff.
An app that reminds you to change your furnace filter. Practical but nobody brings it up at dinner that night. A 100-year old hotel room that looks like 1926, until a television MAGICALLY appears from a motorized frame with retractable artwork. That one gets retold over and over.
The story behind the stuff
It started with history that refused to be forgotten.
For decades before, there was a common thread: memories, experiences, relationships, and stories. Whether restoring a nearly forgotten Christmas tradition, caring for a century-old hotel, creating memorable places, or finding new ways to bring people together, the goal has always been remarkably similar: create something people remember.
None of that happened because it was efficient. It happened because someone decided a place, a tradition, or a story was worth the extra effort it takes to keep it alive. Long before Good Stuff Ventures existed, the pattern was already there. Historic buildings, holiday traditions, neighborhoods, experiences, and stories, were all connected by the same quiet belief. Whether restoring a nearly forgotten Christmas tradition, caring for a century-old hotel, creating memorable places, or finding new ways to bring people together, the goal has always been remarkably similar; create something people remember.
Good Stuff Ventures takes that philosophy into a new world. Some of that work still happens in the physical world, a holiday display, a hotel stay, but some of it happens digitally on a screen too. Regardless, a story, once it's built right, can travel anywhere it's needed, to anyone who needs it, whenever they need it. That is the part technology makes possible that stewardship alone never could.
