THE FOUNDER

Bill Spinnenweber

Good Stuff Ventures was founded by Bill Spinnenweber, a storytelling entrepreneur whose work has moved across historic real estate, hospitality, neighborhood development, preservation, and entertainment. Different businesses and industries, connected by the same fascination -why do some places, traditions, products, and experiences become meaningful to people while others are simply forgotten?

Bill's foundation is both entrepreneurial and hospitality-driven: a bachelor's degree from Miami University with a minor in entrepreneurship, and a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University, one of the most respected hospitality programs in the world. One side of that education is about starting things; the other is about running world-class guest experiences once they exist. Good Stuff Ventures runs on both halves.

None of it stayed in the classroom. Bill doesn't mind getting his hands dirty, literally. Ask anyone who's seen him on a ladder installing a vintage light fixture or checking on a renovation mid-build, and they'll tell you the same thing: he'd rather be in the building than talking about it.

What drives the work

Five things that Bill believes are worth building around.

01

Preserve the stories that matter.

02

Create environments people want to experience, not simply use.

03

Find emotional value in overlooked details, traditions, and moments.

04

Build things that invite connection and become part of someone's memory.

05

Blend stewardship of the past with an openness to new ideas.

The founder story gives Good Stuff Ventures one important distinction: this is not a technology company searching for a human story after the product is built. The story is where the product begins.
